API 556

API 556 is a recommended practice developed by the American Petroleum Institute for use of instrument, control and protective system installations for gas fired heaters in petroleum production, refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants.

It offers information and descriptions of burner types available to the designer/user for purposes of selecting the appropriate burner for a given application.
