PSM (Process Safety Management) Covered Process

A PSM covered process is one that has any activity involving a highly hazardous chemical including any use, storage, manufacturing, handling, or the on-site movement of such chemicals, or a combination of these activities. According to OSHA, the PSM standard mainly applies to manufacturing industries – particularly those pertaining to chemicals, transportation equipment, and fabricated metal products.
